That's horrible marketing indeed, let alone a nefarious business. There are these other things too, like buy this <em>Insurance</em> for some 250 and when you make two other get the same, you get 20 back. Unfortunately, either you never make two or you don't make it in time and see the company disappear, even off the yellow pages.
